Love+Leche Lotion Bar – Review

**I was sent this lotion bar for a review. The following is my total honest opinion. I’m totally in love, thanks again Daven!**

Last week a little brown box arrived on my doorstep. It was completely adorable. But when I opened the box I was greeted with the loveliest scent of lavender. To say I was excited would be an understatement. I was GIDDY beyond belief!! It felt like Christmas in May!

So I opened the box and couldn’t help but smile at the cute little note from Daven (my milkmaid that sent the sweet treasure). And I immediately opened the little tin holding my surprise inside. Ahhh, it’s too cute!!!DSC_0491

Now, if you’ve never heard of Love+Leche you are seriously missing out. They make ALL-NATURAL lotion bars with pure beeswax, coconut oil, almond oil infused with Organically Certified calendula flowers and essential oils (you get to pick the scent!). They are little tins of love and milk from heaven.

Yeah, I’m super picky about what goes on my body. I have semi-sensitive skin and shy away from most commercial lotions and soaps because they’re too drying or give me rashes. Think baby soft skin. I also find most lotions way too perfumey and fake. They seem like a funky smelling pudding in a pretty bottle. Yeah, that’s a little harsh but I can’t even tell you how many bottles I’ve thrown away because they didn’t work for me.

That’s why I was excited for my Love+Leche lotion bar! I picked the cute little Bee and Sunflower Design with the calming lavender scent. It’s smells amazing. Those fancy bath and body stores don’t even compete with the awesomeness of this lotion.DSC_0496

But before I wrote my rave reviews about this, I had to put it to the test. No holding back.

I spent the weekend pulling weeds by hand, planting 180 onions, transplanting tomato and cucumber plants, knitting baby booties, washing dishes, taking hot baths, sewing quilt bindings by hand, cooking, and learning how to continental knit (I already knit English style) on a big blanket. From all the constant hand-washing my hands were mini Sahara Deserts.DSC_0488

And every time I reached for my little tin of heaven I was instantly relaxed.

The scent of lavender made every lotion break feel like a mini-spa day. This stuff is soooo rehydrating for your skin. EVERY SINGLE TIME I used it it brought my skin back to the soft smooth baby-like condition. EVERY TIME. I tried it on my knees, elbows, hands, feet…anywhere that needed some love. I actually had to resist the urge to rub this over my entire body and bathe in it, so I could take a cute picture of my bar. Lol.DSC_0498

But now that I have pictures, so nothing is stopping me!! 🙂

These make great gifts for anyone in your life. Order one for your mother and you’ll definitely be her favorite. 😉 They even have a line of goat’s milk bars for the wonderful guys in your life! These are the answer to your dry skin problems. And look how cute they are!! 🙂 Ahhh, adorbs!DSC_0500

Now, they don’t know this but I’ve been a fan of Milk+Honey (their former name) for years from my knitting and crocheting days and all that time I spent on Ravelry. I was totally honored to review this for them. But don’t tell them how excited I was, because they’re total rockstars in the knitting community. And for good reason! 😉

Thanks again Daven for my wonderful lotion bar! My skin feels amazing!! 🙂

Have a good week!
